Specialty of Pain Medicine CD ROM program will provide each user with a comprehensive review and study of current pain practice. Areas covered include:
- Applied anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology of pain
- Physical evaluation of the pain patient and sequential clinical applied pharmacology
- Evaluation and treatment of common pain syndromes
- Psychological evaluation and testing of the pain patient
- Interventional pain techniques
Course Objectives
Objectives for each individual lecture are provided in the User’s manual for this CD ROM program. Overall objectives for this educational activity include:
- Review principles of pain management that form the basis of the safe and effective practice of pain
- Review pain management information for the American Board of Anesthesiology Pain Management Certification and the American Board of Pain Medicine Certification
